Microsoft Announces New Package to Extend Microsoft Dynamics ERP Solutions to Microsoft Office Users

Well… Yes this was coming and well done Microsoft - it is all about finding ways to sell more of what you have already… And thereby extending your marketshare - to a wider range of users
But what does this mean to the customer:
- well in a sense more value for less money (a wider access to the ERP system at lower entry price)
- but of course does this mean that customers have to upgrade to VISTA and Office 2007 to take advantage of this???
Now What does this mean to the ERP reseller (partner) community:
- should they be (rapidly) getting used to a model where the licence (margins) are shriking or disappearing from them
